Welcome to my adventure into creativity with textile art. Though it has been a life long ambition to run a small business ,I thought it might be a coffee shop or a B&B. This was because I couldn’t envision using my textile and craft work (always my passion) in this way. But after a leap of inspiration and courage, the Textile Studio Workshop was born.

Here you will find a treasure trove of fabric, lace, ribbons and all things textile. Some are new, some found or recycled, all loved and cared for and waiting to be shared with like-minded people like you. Look on my class page to discover the range of classes and drop-in groups available for all ages and levels of experience. It’s all about colour, texture and creativity.
It is my mission to share with others the immense satisfaction I derive from creating something useful or decorative from cloth that may have been discarded. Hence my fascination with scouring the charity shops for those semi precious scraps that can be the highlight of a textile art work.
Also on this site and in the studio itself you will find the unique hand crafted items I have created for sale. The range includes patchwork quilts, bags, fabric coil bowls, wall hangings and much, much more. There is an opportunity to commission me to make something especially for you.
